We have launched our LemonStand website. :D

I didn't have much time to make it. But we are happy with the results. I figured it would be best to stick with something simple to design, reduces the risk of something exploding cross-browser. I was able to make it with barely any IE Hacks too, which was nice. It was built for modern browsers, and looks the best in Firefox, Chrome and Safari. There is fallback for other browsers, but overall they all look similar.

Optomo is a small online business based in Brisbane, Australia. We supply health products, we also build and maintain websites.

I used the demo template as a base (most people do) and then worked from there, re-writing most of it as I went. The forum and docs were really helpful too. Honestly this is one of the most pleasant CMS's I have worked with. I love the freedom, it barely has any limitations. Will certainly be using it in the future for other stores.

We might make it a bit more fancy in the future, but at the moment we like the clinical look. You can't see everything, for example most of our products only have one product image, but I did add in some jQuery for a simple hover interface that fades in, similar to the related products.

EDIT: We are now called Optomo!

I really like the functionality. It's simple, yet makes use of a lot of features. It contains a wealth of information, yet is well organized. It's business, and only practical "fancy" effects are used (top navigation, frontpage slider, and related products). Very good example of a professional company website/store. Good stuff, Chris.

Thanks Guys! It wouldn't be half as good without the help I can get here on this forum.

Our old websites are now running through this cart too, the old sites used a simple 'cart_id' value. So I was able to make use of the basic products that have no options. And automatically add those to the cart.

For products that have options on the new site. I set them to 'cart_id 0' and used that as a trigger to instead build a search query for the new site, using the name as keywords. Among one or two other hacks to help with the keywords. The linkage now takes products with options to the product page. The plan is to eventually draw all traffic to this new website.

There is still a bunch of stuff to do, but I got the Blog online last week.

Also, recently they changed the name to Optomo, so figured I would update the post.
