I have around 400 categories right now and growing. The categories page right now takes some time to load since it loads all of them and then trees it out.

Can you implement paging for the categories page so that it shows 100 or so per page.

This might be a little tricky to maintain the tree structure throughout the pages but I feel it is necessary for those of us who have larger stores with category structures for different departments.

As my business grows and expands I will be adding more departments (categories) and its already difficult to maintain with what I have now.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi!

Yes, the hierarchical structure complicates the pagination implementation. But we will sort it out somehow. I added the task to the roadmap.

Thank you!

It wasn't obvious to me at first. But if you have a lot of categories that contain subcategories, you can press the minus symbol next to the category name. If you have all your categories collapsed and just open the ones you need, it speeds up the load time. But I guess that doesn't help if you have a lot of top-level categories.
