Payment Method and Customer Group

Is their a way to filter the payment method available for use on the front end in regards to customer group? For example, lets have customer C (Consumer) and customer W (Wholesaler)

C can only place orders using the payment method credit card such as Authorize.net
W can only place orders using the payment method gateway such as custom payment gateway (Purchase Order)

Not currently, but this is a good suggestion, thank you. We've added it to our roadmap.

I'd like to see this as well. I'd like to add a payment method only for other employees (essentially a 'free' payment method) to purchase products.

I'd like this too - has anyone cracked it yet? It seems to be waaaaay down the pecking order on the roadmap :(
