Hi!
This simple hint will help you to make your forum search more efficient. Google search works much better than the built-in search feature. To search with Google on LemonStand forum, the Google query string should have the following format:
find this site:forum.lemonstandapp.com
for example:
display subcategories site:forum.lemonstandapp.com

Use Google Search on the forum

Using Google is always a great choice.
Also remember the built-in search changes based on your location in the forum, if you are in a topic it only searches that topic (use the drop-down).

For Windows Firefox users: Instead of always having to enter the phrase "find-this-subject site:forum.lemonstandapp.com" in google search, it's much more convenient to create a permanent search plugin for the LemonStand forum in your browser's search box. There are several ways to create this plugin and place it in the searchplugins folder in your FF profile, but an easy method is this generator script. Once completed, the necessary xml file is automatically dropped into Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<default-profile-file>\searchplugins. Henceforth, searching within this forum is directly available from FF's search box. I have no affiliation with this script but it worked for me.

I used to run a (very) busy forum using invision at edition38.com... sphinx was a great addition to the server as it made the forum search actually work! Just a suggestion
