Thanks! Sure, to give you a quick overview, the filtering modal was accomplished through using partials (these were so incredibly easy to use and allowed me to easily manipulate the data). Each drop down and group of radio buttons were their own partial and I passed in parameters based on the selections. Finally, there's one main search query which does all the cool filtering. Basically, I was able to use the LS category table and manufacturer table combined with my vehicle module to achieve the desired functionality.
