Major new UK/EU children's brand store based on the Lemonstand platform.
Chose Lemonstand for what it would mean to the client in terms of ease of use, but very pleased with the extensibility and flexibility possibilities myself.
Custom built components:
Featured product image/video area;
Wishlist functionality;
Mailchimp integration & mailer;
uhm...
Facebook thingy, stuff for google shopping.. and more that has escaped from my mind right now, but you get the picture.
Client really pleased with the usability of Lemonstand, and means they can turn their attention to actually selling & marketing instead of having to learn how to carry out routine tasks.
We're at http://www.reddbridge.co.uk and looking forward to building our next Lemonstand based shop!

Wow, you went all out on that layout. That's nuts.
Nice work. I'm afraid to see how it runs on consumer grade PCs (with onboard graphics).

It's not too bad actually - the client really wanted a highly graphical environment, and it really suits the brand, so a lot of thought went into how we could deliver that without blowing people's computers up

There's lots of server level caching going on, and also for example if people browse in IE6 or on small screens it will switch certain things off to keep it snappy.
Yeah for sure. Ah, that's good thinking

I created a website using a similar parallax effect but with 7 layers. It ran fairly smooth on older pcs, but was really slow on an ipad.
Site looks great btw.
