I’m seeking a developer to implement a faceted nav on an existing (though not launched) Lemonstand site.
Our implementation would need to work as follows:
Two major categories, Grades & Subject
- Grades: We would have Pre-K, 1 through 12 and Post-Grad.
- Subjects: We would have Five Main Subjects (example: Electives), each with multiple levels of sub-categories (example: Electives > Foreign Language) and occasionally sub-sub-categories (example: Electives > Foreign Language > Spanish).
The browsing functionality for any given Subject and Grade would need to have the filtering capability similar to Active Healths’, except instead of Brand and Price, we would be filtering by Subject and consequently any sub-categories attached to that subject, Grade, Price, and Rating (rating is ideal if possible, but not necessary—we're using Lemonstand’s rating mechanism currently). Similar to Active Health’s, the ability to remove "Your Selections" from the faceted browse is important to us as well.
Additionally, Search result pages should allow the same filtering down of products.
I have the categories mapped out in hierarchical order in Lemonstand.
If you could, let me know what something like the following implementation would cost and an estimated timeline. If you have examples of prior faceted nav implementations, that’d be swell, too. Do let me know if I can provide more information.
Email me with your information. Look forward to hearing back.
Cheers,
Andrew
