I've just come across a nasty bug with jQuery 1.6.2 that crashes tabs in IE 8 when the body has a background image (you get redirected to res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm#,<your site url>). Since 1.6.2 is part of the CMS module what is the best approach to fix this? For the moment I've changed the CMS modeuls version of jquery but I expect that it can/will be clobbered on a subsequent update.
[UPDATE - it does get clobbered]
[UPDATE - To fix for the client facing site I just replaced the theme reference to the internal jquery version with a patched version in the 3rd party resources dir.]
The bug is: http://bugs.jquery.com/ticket/9823
The one line fix is here: https://github.com/j...571c72cbdafbe69
Thanks & cheers
Andrew
