Possible to show products from another LS store?

Hello,

Just curious if there is some way a user can search from 1 LS store, and product results from other LS stores can show up? Can they all have their own database, and also be connected to a central database? Results will be only limited to 25 products showing or something.

Each store would have their own products that would not be shown in the backend of the other stores.

I can think of several ways to accomplish this. I think the easiest way is to build a search index. All other backends would be connected to this central search index. Then when searching you could pull the results from any store and present it. This could be fairly simple or really robust depending on how fast and in-depth you want it to be.
