Different payment methods for different products

Does anyone know if it is possible to use different payment methods for different products? Example: All products from category #1 would use payment method #1, while products from category #2 would use payment method #2. To make things more complicated people would need to be able to add both types of products to their cart.

Hi Dan,

The only possible way is altering the payment method checkout partial, analyzing the cart content there and filtering the payment method list.
