Spree now has support for tax inc environments:

While I've only briefly scanned the docs it has the notion of a default tax zone as mentioned above with the final price being adjusted when the shipping address is known.

Looks like this VAT issue for the UK websites has been and still is rumbling on; when wishing to display prices inc vat for the UK the checkout amount will be incorrect: http://forum.lemonst...096-uk-tax-etc/
