Client:
A start-up dairy and bakery products home delivery company.
Challenges:
Needed a shopping cart that is:
1. Flexible - needed 2 shopping carts & a customized check out process
2. Easy to use - the backend has to be user friendly for my client
3. Easy to develop - I am not a trained programmer -- so I needed good documentation, templating system and examples
4. Inexpensive - as a start-up, my client did not have a lot of money to spend on monthly hosted cart fees
5. Had CMS elements ( pages / blog )
Solution:
I tried many carts out -- open source and hosted, but LemonStand seemed like the perfect fit. The team at LS helped me out on several occasions, and even wrote a module that automatically creates orders from my customer's Standing Orders. Thanks Aleksey!!
Result:
The client loves the site, and we've gotten great feedback from the public. And best of all my client has secured enough customers to begin delivering milk!
