Hello,

I'm a graphic artist in need of an eCommerce app and I think I'm really glad to find your application. :) Ease of use and ability to customize are two of my favorite things.

But, first things first, I need to know if I'll be able to install the Developer License (and ultimately the purchased license) onto a GoDaddy Hosted site. If you need me to, I can tell you any information that you need regarding a hosted site on GoDaddy. But I am not sure how I would install "Zend Optimizer" or "IonCube" onto the GoDaddy server.

Also, if GoDaddy is not a suitable hosting solution for LemonStand, can you recommend a hosting solution?

Please excuse the newbie question as I've never set up an eCommerce shopping cart before.

Thanks,

Chet

OK. So I followed the instructions for testing the server and this is what I have:
http://planainteract...ngcart/test.php

So something is going on with "Apache Web Server". I have even gone into the admin section of the site and set permissions on all folders and files to Read and Write.

Am I out of luck on using your product guys? :(

Hi, ckenisell!

I know one customer who uses LemonStand on GoDaddy server. Can you find out whether your hosting account uses Apache web server? As far as I know GoDaddy offers Windows hosting with IIS (a web server which LemonStand cannot work with). If your account is a Windows hosting account with IIS, then you cannot install LemonStand there.

There are many different web hostings which support LemonStand. For example Media Temple (http://mediatemple.net/) or A2 Hosting (http://www.a2hosting.com/). Media Temple is the best (in my personal opinion) but it is quite expensive. On the other hand, A2 Hosting supports everything LS needs and accounts are much cheaper.

Thank you

Well, as it turns out, I am using a Windows server with IIS. :(

I think Godaddy may offer Linux w/ Apache hosting as well. Maybe Godaddy will change your account over for you?
