Hello,
General questions - do you allow/support/encourage/discourage resellers? For example, a company selling a hosted service using your cart (but rebranded, with their own design/templates).

Second, do you grant access (read-only) to your version control system for developers so they can grab the code that way?

Thanks.

1) At the moment we do not offer any white-labeling program where you can re-brand LemonStand. However, you may purchase a LemonStand license on behalf of your customers and include it in a custom development, deployment or hosting package using your own pricing. That being said, the Administration area can be customized a little by adding a logo to the header, choosing a color option, hiding the Limewheel logo in the footer and adding your own text in the footer as well. The copyright message cannot be removed, though. These things are done in Settings / Customization

2) No, we don't. Each install is bound to a license key (developer or commercial) and the system files are downloaded to the web server during the installation process.

Thanks

OK, thanks. Is reselling a direction you are wanting to support more as your company grows? Would a true white-label solution be something your company would offer?

Also, do you plan to offer a hosted solution at some point?

I can say that is something we have internally discussed and are not opposed to it. But at this point, we have made no decisions about how we would approach it. We will re-visit this as things grow, yes.

We also are discussing partner programs and related things for people or companies that wish to position themselves as experts with the platform.

And as you may have already seen, we're working on a marketplace, i.e. a LemonStand App Store of sorts.

A hosted solution is something we are actively evaluating, yes.

Thanks for your interest
